Don’t let the name fool you - low impact exercise can be just as good for you as high impact exercise.

These workouts help you burn fat and lower your blood pressure in a way that's relatively gentle on joints, which makes it a great option for all fitness levels.

We’ve put together a list of our top six low impact classes that will help you get stronger and fitter in no time.

Move and improve



Get fitter in a supportive and welcoming environment with our Move and Improve class. The program offers a variety of workouts focusing on building your strength mobility, range of motion, balance and coordination by using hand weights, fit balls, weighted balls and foam rollers. 

Work up a sweat in the pool



Our Aqua Deep class provides a mix of cardio exercises that use the natural resistance of water to help strengthen and tone your muscles. It’s perfect for those suffering from back, knee or hip pain.

If that doesn’t strike your fancy we also have a range of other water-based classes each with varying levels of intensity, which includes Aqua Cardio, Aqua Energy, Aqua Fit, Aqua Flex and the new Bub n Me Aqua Fit.

Balance your mind and body



Body Balance incorporates elements of Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates to help you improve your flexibility and core strength. Plus, you’ll leave the class feeling centred and calm.

Put on your dancing shoes



Zumba GOLD is a full body workout for beginners and seniors. Groove yourself to a stronger core with low impact and easy to follow routines that are effective and fun.

Centre your core



Our Pilates classes incorporate the principles of centring, concentration, control, precision, breath and flow. You’ll enjoy the benefits of better strength, coordination, posture, digestion and metabolic rate while turning your snack pack into a six pack.

Find your Zen



Tai Chi is based on practices from martial arts, incorporating simple, slow movements and breathing. The class will help you improve your strength, flexibility, balance and range of motion.
