Junior Sport Clinics

Sports ARCademy offers Junior Coaching Clinics in both Basketball, and Multisports for kids aged 5-12, and for all skill levels.

You may have to set up an account with us online before you register.

Our basketball and multisport coaching clinics are designed for kids aged  5 to 12 years and run during school terms.

Classes run for 50 minutes and are split into age groups (ages 5-8, 9-12). Our experienced coaches will help children develop fundamental skills, and also include plenty of fun and fitness.
    All skill levels are welcome.

You can enrol any time throughout the term. The cost of the full 10-week program is $115. But if you start later, you'll only pay the weeks remaining in the term.

Guardians must stay with their children during the clinics at all times.

  • We have two types of clinics to choose from, basketball, and multisport.

Learn the skills and fundamentals of basketball. This includes dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, footwork, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Our multisports clinic offers basketball, netball, and futsal. This clinic aims to give kids the opportunity to try a variety of sports, focusing on a different sport  every couple of weeks.
  • How long does it run for?

The program will run on a weekly basis during School Terms.

Sessions will not run on public holidays.

Want to try it out first? Your child can try out a class by purchasing a $15.50 once-off trial (subject to availability).

Please note that for basketball clinics, you can only trial during the first three weeks of the term. For multipsorts, you can trial any time throughout the term.

Just follow these three easy steps:

    1. Set up a free account with us online and connect your child(ren) to this
    2. Bring your child in on your chosen day and pay $15.50 at reception
    3. Then if you wish to continue attending, you can enrol for the remainder of the term online.

Ee only offer one trial pass to be bought per child per term at reception. If you want to keep going to the sessions, you will be required to enrol online for the full term.

Registration FAQs

How to register
First, you'll need to create an account with us. Then, follow the simple steps below:

I have enrolled for the clinic, but I wasn’t able to pay?
1. Log into your account

2. Go to 'account;

3. Select 'payment'

4. Tick the 'initial payment' box

5. Select 'pay' and follow the prompts.
I have accidentally enrolled my child into the wrong day, can I please change this?
This change can be made at the discretion of the Sports Supervisor and is dependent on class numbers. If the change is unable to be made, you will still be required to pay for the full term. This change can only be made if your child has not yet attended the clinic on their registered date. This request must be put in writing to sport@cockburn.wa.gov.au.
Does signing up enrol my child for multiple or all days?
No, upon registration you will register for Monday, Wednesday or Thursday only. If you would like to attend more than one clinic day, you must complete another additional enrolment.
My child is unable to attend their Monday class, can they attend the Wednesday class as a make-up lesson?
A make-up lesson will only be allowed if a medical certificate is provided, and class numbers allow. This request must be made in writing to sport@cockburn.wa.gov.au and there is no guarantee that this can be accommodated.
Can I enrol my 6-year-old into the 5pm class with my older child?
No, all children must be in their designated age groups at the assigned times as lesson plans and coaching strategies will differ based on these age groups.
