Classes run for 50 minutes and are split into age groups (ages 5-8, 9-12). Our experienced coaches will help children develop fundamental skills in sports.

    All skill levels are welcome,
from complete beginners to kids wanting to improve their skills.‚ÄĮ¬†

You can enrol any time throughout the term. The cost of the full 10-week program is $115. But if you start later, you'll only pay the pro rata amount.

    Junior Sports Competitions

If your child already has the skills, we also offer a basketball junior sports competition program, held on Friday afternoons throughout the school term.

  • We have two types of clinics to choose from, basketball, and multisport.

    Basketball

This clinic will teach your little one the skills and fundamentals of basketball. This includes dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, footwork, teamwork and sportsmanship; everything kids need to become the ultimate hoop master!

    Multisport

NEW to 2024, our multisports clinic offers basketball, netball, and futsal; which means your child can have a go at multiple sports throughout the term. This clinic aims to give kids the opportunity to try a variety of sports, focusing on a different sport  every couple of weeks.
  • How long does it run for?

The program will run on a weekly basis during School Terms.

I have accidentally enrolled my child into the wrong day, can I please change this?

This change can be made at the discretion of the Sports Supervisor and dependent on class numbers. If the change is unable to be made, you will still be required to pay for the full term. This change can only be made if your child has not yet attended the clinic on their registered date. This request must be put in writing to sport@cockburn.wa.gov.au.

Does signing up enrol my child for multiple or all days?

No, upon registration you will register for with Monday, Wednesday or Thursday only. If you would like to attend more than one clinic day, you must complete another additional enrolment.

My child is unable to attend their Monday class, can they attend the Wednesday class as a make-up lesson?

A make-up lesson will only be allowed if a medical certificate is provided, and class numbers allow. This request must be made in writing to sport@cockburn.wa.gov.au and there is no guarantee that this can be accommodated.

Can I enrol my 6-year-old into the 5pm class with my older child?

No, all children must be in their designated age groups at the assigned times as lesson plans and coaching strategies will differ based on these age groups.
