ARC Run Club

Chevron City to Surf training is now full -  but you haven't missed out for good.

We run training blocks year-round for a range of running events. If you’re keen to lace up with us next time, drop your details below and we’ll make sure you’re first to hear when the next one kicks off.

📝 Health assessments

Before we hit the ground running, you'll complete a pre-exercise questionnaire to help us get to know you and your training needs. Plus, we'll conduct a body scan to measure body fat percentage, bone density, water levels and more. We'll do this again at weeks 5 and 10 to track your progress! 

🏃 2 x weekly outdoor running sessions

Train with us twice a week for 10 weeks. That's 20 sessions all up!

If you're an early riser, join our morning sessions from 6am to 7am on Monday and Thursdays at Fremantle Training Oval, located outside the ARC. 

If evenings suit you better, we also run sessions from 6pm to 7pm on Monday and Wednesday at Anning Park, South Lake. 

💪 Strength program 

To complement your running sessions, our Fitness Coaches will provide you with a structured gym-based strength program designed to improve performance and prevent injury. This program is self-managed. 

⌚ 3 x fitness testsComplete a 2km time trial at the start, middle and end of the program to track your progress and see how much you've improved.

👕 Run Club team shirt 

You'll get your very own Run Club training shirt at the first session briefing.

✉️ Weekly updates 

Stay motivated with weekly emails full of running and recovery tips, tricks and all the good stuff to keep you on track. 

Members can have all this for $100 (that's just $10 per week) 😱. Non-members can join the fun too for $200.

How do I join the club?

If you're a member, log in to your account via the member portal and add the program to your membership. If you're not a member, you can create a free account.

Alternatively, you can pay for the program at reception next time you're in the centre. *Please note this program is non-refundable. 

What happens next?

Hang tight! Shortly after joining, you'll receive a welcome email with everything you need to know before your first session. Then, one of our Fitness Coaches will reach out to schedule your initial health assessment.  

Terms and conditions

This 10-week program provides you access to two outdoor running sessions per week, an initial health assessment & body scans fitness tests before, during and after the program, a strength training program (self-managed), an ARC Run Club training shirt and weekly updates direct to your inblox.

1. Eligibility 

Members and Non-members 14 years+ may enrol in ARC Run Club; however a free casual membership profile must be created first.

2. Fees and Payment 

  • Members ages 14+ (2 x sessions/week) - The total fee for the 10-week program is $100. 

  • Non-Members ages 14+ (2 x sessions/week) - The total fee for the 10-week program is $200. 

All payments are non-refundable once purchase has been made, however, an exception may be granted under medical cancellation as per our terms and conditions. In the case of upfront payment, a medical cancellation refund will be issued for future remaining classes.  

3. Program Activation 

You will receive an email confirmation with the start date and additional program details once registered.   

4. Cancellation Policy 

All enrolments are final, no refunds will be issued for change of mind.    

Cancellations due to medical reasons are permitted provided that we receive written notice. If you have become sick or incapacitated and you provide us with a certificate from a qualified medical practitioner stating that you cannot exercise for a period of at least 3 months, or cannot participate in the ARC Run Club program, your enrolment may be cancelled.    

No refunds will be issued for any payments already made prior to cancellation.    

Missed sessions will be marked as non-attendance and are not refundable.  

5. Member Responsibilities  

You are responsible for attending scheduled sessions and following program guidelines.  

It is recommended to consult with a physician before starting any new fitness program.  

All terms and conditions of entry to the centre and surrounds apply.   

6.  Liability  

The Cockburn ARC is not liable for any injuries or health issues resulting from participation in the program.  

Participants should exercise within their personal limits and seek professional advice if necessary.  

7.  Program Termination  

The Cockburn ARC reserves the right to terminate your participation in the program if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions or engage in inappropriate behaviour. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.  

By enrolling in ARC Run Club 10-week program, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.  

8. Photo permission 

By partaking in ARC Run Club, you consent to any photos or videos to be used for promotional purposes including but not limited to Cockburn ARC social media platforms and website.
