Cockburn Masters Swimming Club

Cockburn Masters Swimming Club

We are based at the Cockburn ARC and Coogee Beach (we swim there Saturday mornings at 7:00am) .
Don’t be put off by the title, we are not “masters” and/or elite swimmers. We are affiliated with Masters Swimming Australia which means that we cater for swimmers 18 years and over.

We cover a wide range of swimming abilities. These include, but are not limited to; those who wish to get fit and have fun; people training for triathlons and swim events, and those training for Rottnest crossings. We utilise several lanes in the ARC pools and cater for all levels of ability and speed.

“Fun, Fitness and Friendship through swimming” is our mantra.

We swim Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm through to 8:00pm  and Thursday mornings from 6:00am through to 7:00am, these sessions work on building swim endurance as well as tweaking swim technique.

New members are most welcome and we offer you three free swims with the club for you to try us out and see if it suits.

Leeming Masters Swimming Club

Leeming Masters

Leeming Masters Swimming Club is affiliated with Masters Swimming, an Australia-wide association of adult swimming clubs whose members, aged 18 years and over, swim regularly to keep fit, make friends and have fun. Based at Cockburn ARC, we have organised training every Wednesday night from 7pm in hired lanes under the supervision of a qualified coach.

Some members meet at other times for a swim (then coffee) and in summer we meet at Coogee Beach on a Sunday morning for open water training in preparation for such events as the Busselton Jetty Swim and Coogee Jetty to Jetty event. We welcome new members and cater for all levels of swimming ability.
