Swim ARCademy FAQ's

General FAQ's

Do you offer make up lessons?
We don't offer make up lessons, but as a member of Swim ARCademy you can come to the pool at anytime during the week outside your lesson to practice your skills.
Do I need to be assessed before I enrol?
No. Simply use our class matching tool to find a class, then view available classes and enrol online. Start the class matcher
Do I have to re enrol each term?
You don't need to re enrol for Swim ARCademy, your membership continues ongoing throughout the year.
How long do the terms run for?
We don't operate under a term structure, so you can enrol today and start tomorrow. That means that if for any reason you want to move on, you don't need to wait until the end of term.
How many spectators can I bring in for free?
On lesson day, two spectators will be allowed in to watch your child during their lessons. If you're in any of the baby aged classes, one person is in the water with bub and two spectators can come in and watch. Please ensure all spectators arrive together and head into the aquatic area together. Any extra spectators or spectators arriving after the child has entered for lessons will need to pay a $2.70 spectator fee.

On non-lesson days, you'll be allowed one adult in to supervise your child swim. Any extras will need to pay whether they’re spectating or swimming.
Can I drop my child off for their lesson and use the gym or spa?
If your child is 11 years and under you'll need to be in the aquatic area sitting next to their pool during their lesson, as per our Watch Around Waer Policy.
I have two children, one has their lesson in the warm water pool and other child is in the Learn to Swim pool. Can they have lessons at the same time?
Siblings swimming in the Learn to Swim pool and 25m pool can be booked into lessons at the same time as long as the guardian can maintain visual contact between both pools.

This does NOT apply to parents and babies. They cannot have another child in the Learn to Swim pool or 25m pool whilst in the warm water pool unless another guardian is present.
How do I change class times or levels?
If you've received a progression email from us or your teacher notifies you that you have progressed, you can either:
  • Come and see us at the Aqua Hub or at reception and one of our staff members will show you the current availability of the next level. From there, you can decide which class you would like to move to.
  • Fill in our change of class form and we'll reach out to you about current availability.
How do I cancel my Swim ARCademy membership?
You can cancel your Swim ARCademy by submitting a cancellation form online. Your cancellation must be lodged by close of business on the Tuesday prior to the next direct debit date to ensure payment is not taken out.
Can I take a break from my Swim ARCademy membership?
Yes. We'll hold your place for $5.50 a week, while you take a break. You can break for a minimum of one week and a maximum of six weeks in one calendar year. All you have to do is apply a Take a Break suspension to your account via your member portal.
