Help people in need this winter by donating dry food items to the ARC to support St Patrick's Community Centre 💛
The St Pat’s cupboards are bare, and they need our help ARCers!
Their mission to aid families and individuals in their time of need is becoming increasingly challenging. Their dedicated kitchen staff and volunteers are currently serving 1,000 more meals a month than they were this time last year, serving upwards of 150 people a day.
In order to relieve some of this pressure and help our community, Cockburn ARC has teamed up with St. Patrick's Community Centre to serve as a collection point for non-perishable food items, to help support their Winter Appeal.
Here's how you can help:
Donate dry food items
From Monday 29 May, you can drop off your donations to the Cockburn ARC reception anytime during staffed hours. This is the perfect opportunity to clear out your pantry and offer items that you no longer require such as:
- Dried pasta
- Pot and 2 Minute Noodles
- Tuna
- Pasta sauce
- Muesli bars/protein bars
- Soup (both tinned and sachet
- Ring-pull tinned Spaghetti
- Ring-pull tinned Baked Beans
- Long life milk
- Ring-pull tinned vegetables
- Breakfast cereals
Please note we are unable to accept food items that are not listed above.
Spare some change 💰
If you don’t have time to make it into the centre, you can make a small or big donation directly to St Pat's website. All donations are used to support St Pat’s frontline staff to provide the community with warm meals 🍜 clothing, showers, and bedding during the colder months.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Whether you can give a little or a lot, it all helps. Let's make sure no one goes hungry this winter 💛
