Gerda celebrates her 90th at the ARC

30Jun2022

We recently celebrated a special milestone for one of our members.

We recently celebrated a special milestone for one of our members. Gerda turned 90 years old earlier this week, making her our oldest active member!

Gerda has been attending Cockburn ARC since 2017, with her favourite part being our Aqua Fit classes.

We commemorated her big day by holding a small morning tea with some of our members and staff.

Terry Pritchard, our Group Fitness Team Leader, said Gerda is an inspiration, not only to her peers but also to staff.

"She's a testament to the benefits of attending Aqua Fitness Classes for overall fitness and wellbeing - Gerda looks FABULOUS!

"Seeing Gerda with her friends in the pool having fun and enjoying exercise every week is what makes our job so enjoyable and rewarding," said Terry.

Thanks for your continued support, Gerda, and congratulations again on hitting this incredible milestone!

We look forward to having you as part of our ARC Family for many more years to come.
