Adult supervision required for junior South Lake Dolphins athletes from Monday 18 July

In our ongoing drive to provide a safe environment for the South Lake Dolphins community, all children 11 years and under MUST be accompanied and supervised by an adult while training at Cockburn ARC. 

Supervision 

These supervision requirements are outlined below: 

• All South Lake Dolphin athletes 11 years and younger are to be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times while visiting the ARC. This is in addition to the coaching provided by South Lake Dolphins staff. 
• All responsible adults must be 16 years of age or older 
• A responsible adult can supervise a maximum of six athletes, 11 years of age and under 
• All junior athletes under the care of any responsible adult must enter through reception at the same time as that adult 
• All responsible adults must be present through the duration of each training session, at the specific pool location that the junior athlete is training 

Checking in at reception 

As of Monday 18 July, all junior athletes must check in at reception with their responsible adult instead of scanning through the turnstiles. This will assist our team to better ensure the safety and wellbeing of all swimmers at the ARC and reduce any confusion that has previously occurred in this area. 
 
If your child arrives at reception without a responsible adult, they will not be permitted access into the aquatics area.

The above requirements are part of the conditions of holding a South Lake Dolphins membership at ARC. 

Failure to comply with our Conditions of Entry and any other reasonable directions provided by our team can result in member cancellation as detailed in our Terms and Conditions.
