Access & Inclusion Swim Program

We believe in providing an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone. We offer swim classes specifically to nurture and develop people with special needs & disabilities.
  • *Please note that we currently have a waitlist for enrolments and cannot guarantee a position straight away*.

Our Access & Inclusion Program offers specialised swim classes dedicated to helping kids with disabilities and special needs reach their goals in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

These classes are for children 15 years and under.

We prioritise each swimmer’s unique journey, allowing them to progress at their own pace while developing lifelong swimming & safety skills. Each lesson is tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.

    Goal-Oriented:

We understand that individuals with disabilities and special needs require personalised strategies that work best for them. That’s why we collaborate closely with you to create a customised learning plan.

We use a term-based approach to set and achieve goals. Over a 12-week period, we’ll work on personal milestones, water safety, and the opportunity to move into a mainstream class with other students. Our aim is to smoothly integrate swimmers back into a regular class if they are ready & able, or continue to develop swim skills for as long as they need.

    Supportive Facilities:

Check out our aquatic facilities, with features to help support people with special needs and disabilities.

We have a range of specialised equipment, as well as trained instructors, and high level of support from our team.

  • Access & Inclusion (15 min) lessons: $19.50 per week.
Access & Inclusion (30 min) lessons: $39 per week.

All lessons are once per week, per student, paid via fortnightly direct debit.

As a member of Swim ARCademy, you will have one lesson with an instructor per week, as well as unlimited use of the recreational pools (excludes Wellness Lounge) seven days a week.
  • As a part of Swim ARCademy, our program runs all throughout the year and is flexible, which means that if for any reason you wish to move on, you don't need to wait until the end of term, you just need to provide us with notice by the Tuesday before the next direct debit run.

We run throughout the year, except for Christmas, Easter, and a break in July, which means you can still enjoy your class during most school holidays.

Going on holidays or need some time off?

We also allow you to take a break from your membership and we will hold your place in the class for $6 a week.
  • Our goal for this program is to develop and support swimmers back into mainstream classes if they are ready and able.

You can check out our mainstream based program here.

Check out what our families have said about the program:

SwimARCademy have been wonderful in developing relationships with the boys and letting them learn in their own time. We haven’t found another Swim School that offers as much as the ARC. - Tiffany
