Our Fitness Coaches have built a progressive 8 week training plan to prepare you for the 12km or half marathon. Plus you’ll have a crew to keep you accountable along the way.
Come along to our pre-launch event on Monday 23 March, 5–7pm. Supplement Mart will be in the gym with samples, plus join on the night for a chance to win Fremantle Dockers tickets.
Training starts Monday 30 March.

Health assessments
Before training begins, you'll complete a pre-exercise questionnaire and body scan to establish your baseline. This is repeated 8 to track progress.
Outdoor running sessions
Train twice a week for 8 weeks, with our Fitness Coaches leading every session.

Strength program
You’ll receive a gym-based strength program designed to improve running performance and help reduce injury risk. This program is self-managed.
Fitness testing
Complete a 2km time trial at the start, midpoint and end of the program to measure your improvement.
Run Club shirt
Receive your ARC Run Club training shirt at the first session briefing.
Weekly updates
Get weekly emails with training tips, recovery advice and motivation to keep you moving.

What happens next?
Hang tight! Shortly after joining, you'll receive a welcome email with everything you need to know before your first session. Then, one of our Fitness Coaches will reach out to schedule your initial health assessment.
ARC Run Club is an 8-week program delivered by our Fitness Coaches, running from Monday 30 March to Sunday 24 May 2026.

1. Eligibility
- Open to Members and Non Members aged 14 years+.
- Non members must create a free casual profile prior to enrolment.
2. Fees and Payment (Upfront Program)
All fees are payable upfront at the time of enrolment.
Member Price 14+: $144 (total minimum cost = $144)
Non Member Price 14+: $240 (total minimum cost = $240)
No additional compulsory fees apply.
4. Program Activation
You will receive confirmation via email with your start date, session schedule and additional program details once registered.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 Change of Mind
All change of mind cancellations are non refundable.
5.2 Medical Cancellation
- Cancellations due to medical reasons are permitted when supported by written notice and a medical certificate stating you cannot exercise for at least 3 months or cannot participate in the Run Club program.
- Eligible cancellations will receive a pro rata refund for unused future sessions.
5.3 Missed Sessions
Missed sessions are considered non attendance and are not refundable.
6. Participant Responsibilities
- You must attend scheduled sessions, follow coach instructions and may be required to complete pre exercise screening before commencing the program.
- You are responsible for exercising within personal limits. We recommend consulting a medical professional before starting any new fitness program.
- All standard Cockburn ARC terms of entry apply.
7. Risk Acknowledgment and Liability
7.1 Recreational Activity Notice
ARC Run Club involves outdoor fitness activities, which carry inherent risks such as trips, falls, weather exposure, fatigue and traffic adjacent running conditions.
7.2 Assumption of Risk
By enrolling, you acknowledge that you participate voluntarily and accept the inherent risks associated with recreational fitness activities.
7.3 Liability Statement
To the extent permitted by the Civil Liability Act 2002 (WA), you agree that your participation is at your own risk and release ARC from liability for injuries arising from the inherent risks of recreational running activities.
This clause does not exclude liability where:
- ARC fails to meet obligations required by law (e.g., safety requirements),
- ARC acts with reckless disregard, or
- Consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply.
8. Outdoor Training Compliance
ARC operates in line with local government requirements for outdoor group fitness, including:
- Appropriate public liability insurance
- Qualified fitness professionals
- Compliance with local council outdoor training permit conditions (where applicable).
9. Program Termination
ARC may terminate participation if a participant breaches these T&Cs or behaves inappropriately. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
10. Photo & Media Consent
- By participating in ARC Run Club, you consent to the use of photos or videos taken during sessions for promotional use by Cockburn ARC (e.g., social media, website).
- Participants may opt out by emailing us prior to program commencement.
- Photo consent opt out aligns with privacy and waiver best practice.
