Changes to gym floor classes

7Nov2024

There will be changes to gym floor classes as of Friday 8 November.

Due to ongoing expansion works and the reconfiguration of gym equipment this week, there have been some unexpected changes to our gym floor classes.

Starting tomorrow, Friday 8 November, HYBRID will no longer be part of the group fitness timetable. The space where HYBRID is typically held has been reduced, making it unsafe to continue offering the class as the gym currently stands.

In place of HYBRID, we’re introducing a new class that’s designed to make the most of our updated gym space: HIIT & Run!

This 30-minute workout is done on the Skillrun machines and alternates between short, intense bursts of running or sprinting and recovery periods of walking or light jogging. It’s a fast and effective way to burn fat and improve your cardiovascular fitness!

Additionally, Glute Gainz on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9am and 9:45am will move to the stadium on court 5.

HYBRID Plus classes will run on the courts as usual.

This change is temporary, and HYBRID and the other gym floor classes will resume down the track. Thanks for your understanding.
