Swim Clinic Terms & Conditions


General/Enrolment:

  • Upfront payment for the clinics is required at time of booking. If fees are not paid, your booking will be cancelled, and your child will not be able to participate in the clinic.   
  • Your enrolment includes consecutive lessons for each student, on the dates and times specified during the enrolment process.  
  • Your enrolment:  
  1. Is not transferable or shareable
  2. Cannot be refunded or credited if one or more sessions are missed. 
  3. Take a break option does not apply to this consecutive program
  • Sessions do not operate on public holidays.  
  • By enrolling in the Swim School Holiday Program, you agree to all Holiday Clinic Terms and Conditions, all relevant terms and conditions from the Swim School Membership also apply including Facility Conditions of Entry and Patron Conduct Policy  
  • Cockburn ARC is to be notified of any medical conditions and/or allergies prior to attending 
  • Children must behave safely and appropriately during Holiday Program lessons. Any behaviour that poses a risk to themselves, others, or ARC property will not be accepted. Parents/guardians must actively supervise their child throughout the lesson in line with the Watch Around Water policy and may be asked to intervene if unsafe or disruptive behaviour occurs. 

Access:

  • During your enrolment, students may access the following areas outside of lesson times: the Learn to Swim Pool, Leisure Pool, 25m Pool, and 50m Pool.  
  • As per section 4.1 in the swim school term and conditions allowances stipulated in clause 6, multiple spectators must present at reception together at the time the Swim ARCademy student scans at the access gates prior to lessons. Spectators arriving separately of the student to observe the lesson will be charged the standard spectator fee. 
  • As per section 4.2, although spectator allowances can be utilised to cover the entry of persons under sixteen (16) years, spectators under sixteen (16) years are not permitted within the Wellness Lounge at any time. The Wellness Lounge is a sixteen (16) years and above area at all times for children not scheduled in classes or approved programs designated to this area 
  • As per section 4.8, in addition to our rights under clause 2.7, we may deny you access to the Facility or direct you to leave the Facility if:
  1. We decide that your behaviour is inconsistent with the Facility Conditions of Entry;
  2. Is inappropriate, hazardous or detrimental to the safe enjoyment of the Facility by yourself or others. 
  3. We may exercise our rights under clause 3 and this will not entitle you to a refund of any fees or grant you any right to terminate this Swim ARCademy Enrolment Agreement.

Inclusions:  

  • Spectator entry is only valid when the enrolled Swim ARCademy student is present  
  • Swim ARCademy Enrolment is not valid with any external program or service including but not limited to: education department swimming, vacation swimming, swimming squads/clubs or school carnivals. Pool bookings, birthday parties and external programs or services are separate and all subject to all endorsed fees & charges.  
  • Makeup lessons will not be offered at any time 
  • Lockers are not included in our Swim ARCademy Enrolment and standard locker hire fees will apply if you wish to hire a locker during any visit to the Facility. 

Cancellations:

  • If a session is cancelled by Cockburn ARC, you will receive product credit for the cancelled class. 
  • Cockburn ARC does not provide refunds.  

Facility Rules  

All enrolled students, and accompanying spectators must:  

  • Comply with all Facility Rules and staff instructions.  
  • Not interfere with others’ use of the Facility; and not behave in a way that is inappropriate, hazardous, or detrimental to others’ safety or enjoyment.  
  • Spectators must enter the Facility together with the enrolled student prior to lessons. Spectators arriving separately will be charged the standard spectator fee.  
  • Students eleven (11) years and under entering the Aquatic Facility must be actively supervised by an adult or person sixteen (16) years and above at all times. 
  • Students six (6) years and under must be accompanied in the water and within arm’s reach of an adult or person sixteen (16) years and above at all times. 
  • Swim ARCademy students are subject to Watch Around Water protocols at all times. Failure to comply may result in the termination of your Swim ARCademy enrolment 
  • Credits and refunds will not be provided due to failure to comply with the Facility’s Watch Around Water requirements.
