Conditions of Entry
All party bookings adhere to the Cockburn ARC Conditions of Entry
Cleaning Fees
- The party room must be thoroughly cleaned (all surfaces wiped, rubbish in the bin and floors swept) before the conclusion of your booking time. Failure to thoroughly clean incurs a $50 cleaning fee
Over time Fees
- Failure to exit promptly will result in a $50 penalty for every30 minutes over time.
Early set up
- Party bookings include two hours of party time with your guests. You will have access to the party room 30mins before your party start time to set up. You can not enter before 30 minutes.
Rescheduling
- You may reschedule your party date provided there is availability, and more than three weeks' notice is given. If changing your party type, additional fees may apply.
Refunds
- We do not offer refunds for cancellation requests received within 6 weeks of the booking date. A credit to the value of the purchased product can be issued for cancellation requests received 6 weeks or more prior to the booking date.
Facilities
- Parties are self-catered. A kitchenette with a sink, fridge and convection microwave-oven is provided in the party room.
- Aquatic party bookings may use the outdoor barbeque facilities subject to availability. Barbeque facilities cannot be reserved for the exclusive use of the party booking.
- We do not provide tableware - you will need to bring paper plates, cups, cutlery etc
- The Cockburn ARC holds the right to close facilities such as waterslides and play centres, to accommodate planned or emergency maintenance as required. Should closures impact your booking, our team will work with you for a suitable outcome.
- No Sticky tape or Blu Tack are permitted to be used on party room surfaces, walls or windows.
Guest Lists
- A guest list must be submitted to the Bookings Officer prior to the party date. Guest list submissions can be completed via the booking confirmation email.
Prohibited items being brought into parties:
The following items are prohibited from the Cockburn ARC:
- Metal cake knives
- No alcohol
- No ceramic or glass objects – use plastic serve ware
- No face painting
- No glitter
- No confetti
- No sticking items with blu tak onto walls
- No electrical appliances (such as air fryers)
- No additional furniture such as trestle tables, chairs and gazebos
- No helium cylinders
Bandicoots Play Centre Parties Specific
- The Bandicoots Play Centre is open for public playtime during non-exclusive bookings. Non-exclusive bookings will still have exclusive use of the party room.
- A maximum of 20 party guests is permitted (a total of 21 children including the birthday child). We recommend 1 adult per child to attend.
- Bandicoot Party Bookings include a Party Attendant who will be present for the duration of the party to assist in welcoming your party guests.
- Adult supervision of children is required at all times.
- All children on the play equipment must be 8 years or younger.
- All patrons are to adhere to the Bandicoot Play Centre’s Conditions of Entry
- All patrons are to adopt the appropriate Play Centre Etiquette whilst in the play centre.
- No food in the play centre. Please keep food in the party room.
- Non-exclusive birthday party guests will be provided a party wristband upon arrival which is to be worn for the duration of the birthday party.
Aquatic Parties Specific
- A maximum of 15 party guests are permitted (a total of 16 children including the birthday child).
- All guests must check in at front reception to receive a party wristband.
- All party guests must adhere to Cockburn ARC’s Watch Around Water policy.
- The Waterplay area and Leisure Pool is open to the public during birthday party times.
- Waterslide parties are suitable for ages seven and older and height restriction of a minimum of 120cm applies.
- Waterslides are open to the general public during Non-ExclusiveWaterslide Parties.
- We have two slides, the Pipeline and the Tumbler (due to operational considerations, the waterslides will be closed until further notice.
Unforeseen Circumstances
- Should you or your child experience unforeseen circumstance and are unable to attend your party booking, please let us know as soon as possible. We will assist you in rescheduling to a later date (subject to availability). Where a reschedule cannot be accommodated, centre credit to the value of your purchased product will be added to your account to use towards future bookings.
- If the birthday child becomes illand is not able to attend your party booking, we will assist in rescheduling your party to a later date provided a medical certificate or other substantial evidence is provided. Where a reschedule cannot be accommodated due to limited availability, a refund may be provided with a $40 administration fee.
- Should any guests or other non-immediate family members fall ill and are unable to attend your booked party, we are unable to reschedule or refund your booking.
