Throughout March, Cockburn ARC joined over 1,500 fitness centres across 130 countries in Technogym's 2026 Let's Move to Donate Food Campaign - a global initiative where every recorded move contributes to the UN World Food Programme.
We're incredibly proud of what our community achieved:
#1 in Australia (out of 50 facilities)
#7 Globally (out of 1,584 facilities)
Together, our members and staff generated a huge 5,247,787 moves - the equivalent of 2,621 meals donated, to children who need them most.
Moves are recorded automatically each time a session is completed on connected Technogym equipment, where every workout contributed to the campaign's global goal. For every 2,000 moves recorded, one meal is donated to a child in need. For us - every walk, run, swim, lift, push, lunge, dance move and pull counted!
Our Health Club Team Leader, Andrew Ng, shares what made this campaign so important to be a part of:
"This initiative gave us the opportunity to create a positive impact - not only for our members' health and wellbeing, but for the wider community. Our staff led by example, brought real energy to the challenge, and our members showed that movement can be about so much more than exercise alone. It's powerful to think that something as simple as moving more each day can help put meals on the table for children who need them most."
Well done to every ARCer who showed up, made a difference, and made every move count.
