Member Services

Patrons asking for membership prices-

 
  1. Refer to Member services
  2. Member services appointment / phone call
  3. Memberships prices range from $12.40 - $23.50 depending on your needs and concessions.
 
  • Check to see if the Membership Consultants are free to take the enquiry.
  • Ask them if they would like to give their details and we will have one of the Membership consultants call them.
  • Please email all leads to the Membership Consultant Team Leader.
  • Email: Patrons full name, number, email, what they are interested in, concession (If applicable) and any other information they provided.

Our membership terms and conditions
Important- Don't Provide Prices
Why?
- By giving out prices directly, it changes the way a customer sees the membership. They will judge based on a price, rather than seeing the value (the support, inclusions, programs ect). On reception, we don’t have the time to show them the value, which is why we have a member services team.

- We also run the risk of giving out incorrect information which may impact the customers return to the centre (eg. Concession discounts ect.). If we give them a higher amount, they may not come back and therefore won’t start their journey of being more active more often. If we give them a price that is too low, they’ll be disappointed in the misinformation resulting in losing trust in the information we provide.

Avoid directing them to the website
Why?
- We want them to follow the journey – connecting with member services (we can then find out their emotional needs and wants and help them to achieve their goals), giving them a support person and guiding on the correct path.

- By directing them to the website, we lose the personal connection and become like any other facility. A lot of the time if someone has physically come in, they want a human connection or further information. Otherwise they would have just looked on the website themselves (they probably already have)

Try not to let them leave without a follow up:

First option – Book an appointment
Second option – Take details and get MC to call

If someone leaves, they are likely to never come back and begin their health and fitness journey.

Active Youth 14 yrs - 15 yrs

Facilities Available

Access to Wellness lounge is N/A

Eligible to participate in:
  • Non-weights based group fitness classes
  • Water-based classes
  • Eligible to use cardiovascular equip-ment unsupervised
  • May participate in structured or supervised group activities at discre-tion of the Facility.
  • Not eligible to participate in unsu-pervised resistance training or weights based group fitness classes

Gym Restricted Access
 
  •         Weekdays - 6am to 6pm
  •         Weekends - 7am to 6pm
  •         Public Holidays - 7am to 6pm

Conditions

Proof of age card is required at sign up (e.g Passport, Birth Certificate).

Must complete an initial consultation and program com-mencement with a gym instructor before using the Facility

Parent/ Legal Guardian must be present.

Excludes any other form of admission including access to social sporting competitions, special events, waterslides and programs.

This is an ongoing membership agreement. The agreement will continue until either you or the supplier terminate it in the way described in the agreement. If an automatic debit arrangement is in place, membership fees will continue to be debited from your credit card or account until you or your fitness centre cancels the arrangement by notifying your bank or credit provider. If you terminate the agreement or stop the automatic debit arrangement in a manner not described in the agreement, then you may be liable to the fitness centre for damages for breach of contract.

Contract Terms

The membership application must be signed by the minor’s parent/guardian, who agreed by signing that he or she is authorised to enter into this agreement on behalf of the minor and remains re-sponsible for its due performance by the minor.
 
  • Direct debit with a 28 day minimum term.
 
  • 28 days’ notice of cancellation required.
 
  • 84 days suspension at no charge per calendar year
 
  • Once the membership has expired and member signs back up immediately onto a Lifestyle membership— The duration of the previous Youth Active Membership is reflected on the Lifestyle which will reduce their Lifestyle contract term.

FIFO Members
FIFO worker proving they are FIFO
Either can be produced:
  • A current roster that states where they are working/their roster structure proving they are FIFO
  • A letter of employment or from supervisor/manager stating they are currently employeed as a FIFO worker
Suspensions on FIFO Memberships
FIFO members are on a discounted rate and already fly consistently we require proof of their travel plans. eg- Itinerary with specific dates, hotel confirmation etc.
2022 Allowing FIFO to suspend-Email MS.
COM- General member changing to FIFO
  • Book with member services.
If a member changes to a FIFO career we are able to book them in with the membership team. As the FIFO contract is different to a general membership they will need to be run through terms and conditions.
