South Lake Dolphins

Summary of Dolphins agreement

  • Swimmers and coaches are not permitted access to the pool hall prior to 5.30am.
South Lake Dolphins Supervision
These supervision requirements are outlined below:

  • All South Lake Dolphin athletes 11 years and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian at all times whilst  in the ARC facility. This is in addition to the coaching provided by South Lake staff.
  • All guardians must be 16 years of age or older
  • A guardian is able to supervise a maximum of six athletes 11 years of age and under
  • All junior athletes under the care of any guardian must enter through reception at the same time as their guardian
  • All guardians must be present throughout the duration of each training session, at the specific pool location that the junior athlete is training in

Checking in at Reception
As of Monday 11 July 2022, all junior athletes will be required to check in at reception with their guardian instead of scanning through the turnstiles. This will assist our team to better ensure the safety and well-being of all swimmers at the ARC and reduce any confusion that has previously occurred in this area.
Entry options for SLD
  1. Pay Casual entry
  2. Visit / Spectator passes through POS
  3. Membership organised through MCs
SLD Members Spectator Allowance
  • For SLD members, one free guardian spectator entry is allowed
  • SLD members wishing to use the slides pay the upgrade fee only.
  • Parents of a child with SLD visit passes are required to pay a spectator fee or purchase SLD spectator visit passes.

If the child is a SLD member the guardian should have a fob set up for them to scan themselves through.
SLD Under 12 yrs
Guardian must accompany and stay during training sessions
As per the watch around water policy, any children 11 years or under are required to be supervised while on pool deck at all times. This includes morning training times.
Club Night
What to ask on club night if a SLD parent comes to reception and says they are here for Club Night.
1. Are you time keeping or spectating?
If they are time keeping, they are free as they are volunteering
If they are spectating they are charged normal spectator fee

SLD will send us a printed copy of the officials and are able to access the aquatic area free of charge on club night.
Contacting SLD directly
Direct patrons to email -  info@southlakedolphins.com.au
Our internal contact for SLD related matters is Megan Mason
SLD members and account photo
Photo required.
The SLD membership like other memberships cannot be shared with anyone else. Because of this we require a photo of the child in PG to monitor any potential band breaches. Also if the child forgets their FOB we can identify their membership by the photo on the account.
SLD children with visit passes
If the child has visit passes the parent does not get in free of charge, only SLD memberships are granted one guardian entry.
