We're changing our sports competition

You asked and we listened. Changes are coming!

As we near the end of the current season we would like to let you know that the new season commencing Monday 8 July will see some changes. We've listened to feedback, and we think the changes will make for a better competition all round.

The key change is that we will be moving to a fixed season where everyone is on board for the whole season. This makes for better competition and it means that we can publish the full fixtures as soon as the first two weeks of grading is completed.

What are all the changes and what will they mean?
Season Structure
  • The new season will be 12 weeks long, inclusive of two grading weeks and two weeks of finals
  • Season byes will be introduced for leagues with an odd number of teams
  • Nominations can only be accepted at the start of a season and for an entire season
  • If a team has signed up for a season and chooses to withdraw mid-season, a cancellation fee will apply
  • Regardless of which payment option you are currently utilising, all teams in the new season will need to sign a new nomination form and will be charged a nomination fee.
  • If you are currently paying fortnightly you will need to advise us of a new payment option as we are removing the fortnightly payment option. You will need to advise whether you would like to pay upfront or weekly.
  • If you are currently paying upfront you will continue into the new season using already paid credit.
  • If you are currently paying weekly you will continue to pay at the counter however the $280 deposit will be removed and applied in credit for future games.

Register a team for futsal, basketball or netball
