We Moved for a Better World

The global Lets Move For a Better World Campaign has now ended. Like to know how many moves we collected?

For 20 days in March, the members of the ARC Health Club moved for a better world!

The Let’s Move For A Better World Campaign is an annual challenge conducted by Technogym our equipment provider in the gym. The aim is to encourage more people to be more active more often in fighting global obesity. Members just had to record their workout in exchange for 'moves' through our software, MyWellness.

In our very first year in the campaign, Cockburn ARC, ended up 4th overall across Australia on the leaderboard for the number of moves collected.

But it was more then that, members considered it a challenge among themselves, to collect more moves then their friends, be at the top of the ARC 'moves' leaderboard, or for some people it was simply to collect more moves than their last workout. The staff also got competitive - someone had to get more moves in than the Gym Team Leader.

We would love to thank everyone who participated and contributed. We are proud to say that we collected a total of 1,759,684 moves.

See everyone next year for round two!
