Swim School In-Service

17Mar2022

We recently held our Swim School In-Service event, which recognises the amazing achievements of our Swim School team.

We recently held our biannual Swim School In-Service event, which recognises the amazing achievements of our Swim School team.

We were fortunate enough to be joined by Marlene Stevens from AUSTSWIM WA, who spoke about their Access and Inclusion Program, and ways to improve lessons for students.

Thanks Marlene for sharing your wisdom with us. We look forward to applying what we learnt in our lessons to better meet the needs of our Swim ARCers.

We’re excited to share that Brenna Orrock and Catherine Giles were the recipients of our Instructor of the Year awards – well done team!

Congratulations to the following instructors who received a commendation for their outstanding contribution to the team:
  • Natsuko Buvet
  • Luke Goodwin
  • Samantha Higginson
  • Briannon Jones
  • Sophie Kostkova
  • Brenna Orrock
  • Amelia Pursey
  • Jen Roughton

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped make it possible to keep our Swim School going over the past year, despite all the challenges. I couldn’t be more proud of the team,” said Joanne Allen Aquatic Programs Team Leader.

Congratulations again everyone! We can’t wait to see all the awesome things you do in the year ahead.
