Stadium Cladding Works to Commence

17Oct2024

Repair of the stadium walls and installation of cladding will commence.

So far, the ARC evolution project has focused on the entry to aquatics and the level one health club to enable us to create new gym, group fitness and staff spaces.

It's now stadium's turn! As a part of our ARC Evolution, we will be repairing the damage to the stadium walls and installing cladding in its place.

This will affect the space around the north side (courts 2,4,6) and west side (courts 5,6) of the stadium and will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks to complete, beginning this week.

The good news is that the installation will have minimal impact on the use of the courts, and senior and junior sports competitions will continue to run as usual.

What will be occurring?

Firstly steel supports will be installed during night works. Scaffolding will then be installed the window side of courts 5 + 6, and up on the mezzanine on the back wall.

This will occur during the day, with courts still available for usual programs and casual shooting, and will end in time for our senior sports to play on all courts each night.

While there will be room to the side of every court to accommodate game play, there will be no spectator seating along the western windows.

If you have any questions please ask the umpires and stadium staff.
