All memberships and Swim ARCademy members payments will cease from today.
The health, wellbeing and safety of our members and employees are a key priority for Cockburn ARC. With this in mind we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely.
In the coming days, weeks and months, every business, organisation, family and individual will be asked to do their part to help #flattenthecurve.
This situation is unprecedented, evolving and challenging for all involved. Whilst this is outside of our control, we are doing everything we can to support our members and families.
From today, we are ceasing all membership and Swim ARCademy payments, with immediate effect.
Members will still be able to access the Centre, without payment, including 24/7 gym access.
For Swim ARCademy, your child’s enrolment, day and lesson time will continue to occur and parents are able to make a decision to attend or not without concern of financial commitments for lessons until further notice.
This decision has been made to provide our members and Swim ARCademy families the option to choose whether to visit us or not during the emerging COVID-19 situation, without concern of financial commitment or member contracts.
We understand many members and Swim ARCademy parents are becoming increasingly concerned about the emerging COVID-19 situation, which has resulted in significant requests for suspension and cancellation. We want to support our members and families during this difficult time, so have decided this course of action is the most appropriate to support you.
At this moment in time and until advised otherwise, ARC continues to be a public facility and workplace that remains safe to attend.
This is an emerging situation and should it be necessary to provide you further communication, we will contact you via email, and if relevant text message, depending on the update. We also encourage you to monitor alerts on our website at www.cockburnarc.com.au
Can I still access the facility?
Yes, active members and active Swim ARCadmy members can continue to access the facility.
I am a 24/7 member; can I access the gym?
Yes, if you have completed your 24/7 induction and received a confirmation SMS you have 24/7 access enabled.
When will my next membership payment occur?
Payments are on hold, indefinitely. We will advise you in advance of when these will be reinstated.
Can I still cancel my membership/ Swim ARCademy membership?
We do not recommend members to cancel memberships, as standard terms and conditions will apply. Members nominating not to attend the Centre during the emerging COVID-19 situation will not be charged for membership dues and will be advised in advance of payments recommencing.
Do I need to suspend my membership?
No, no action is required. Your membership payments have automatically been suspended.
Does this impact my suspension entitlements as a member?
No. Your membership payments have been automatically suspended. This will not contribute towards your annual suspension limit of 84 days.
What if I have already suspended my membership?
Members who have already suspended between 1 March – 16 March 2020 will have their annual suspension limits adjusted accordingly.
