ARC returns to normal from Monday 12 July.


Cockburn ARC will be back in full swing from Monday 12 July.

As announced by the Premier on Friday, restrictions are being lifted and masks will not be required
indoors, including fitness centres and gyms from 12.01am Monday 12 July. 

Programs recommencing from Monday 12 July

  • Swim school 
  • Crèche
  • Big Kids Crèche 
  • Birthday parties 
  • Ssenior sport competitions
  • Group fitness classes
  • Waterslides

All pools, sauna and steam will reopen. The spa will remain closed due to maintenance. 

Coaching clinics will return in Term 3.

As the centre will resume standard operations from Monday 12 July, membership payments are scheduled to recommence from this date with ongoing fortnightly payments resuming Thursday 22 July.

Cockburn ARC will open again tomorrow Tuesday 6 July from 5:00am

Following the Premier’s announcement today, we’ll reopen our doors as of tomorrow with the expected transitional restrictions in place, which will include capacity of 150 attendees at once.

Services that will recommence - for members only
•           Gym
•           Pools (25m, 50m and warm pools for exercise)
•           24/7 (from 5:00am)
•           Cafe (reduced hours)

Services that remain unavailable until Monday 12 July
•           Swim school
•           Group fitness
•           Spa, sauna, steam room
•           Leisure pools and waterslides
•           Stadium including senior and junior social sports
•           Crèche 
•           PlayActive and birthday parties
 
Mask Requirements
Masks continue to be mandatory at all times indoors except from when engaging in vigorous exercise, staff will request that you put a mask on when resting or engaging in non-vigorous exercise so please ensure you carry one at all times

If you have a medical exemption to not wear a mask, please bring a letter from your medical professional the first time you visit us and we will make a note on your account.

We will update our website if mask requirements change.
 
Membership

Members will have access to the facility from Tuesday 6 July and fees will apply from Monday 12 July.

A credit will be placed on memberships to cover the period when the centre has been operating in a reduced capacity from Monday 28 June to Sunday July, reducing the next fortnightly direct debit on Thursday 8 July.

Full service is scheduled to recommence on Monday 12 July, for all programs and services. Casual entry will also be reinstated.

Just in summary:

Phase 3 - Monday 12 July - all programs and services recommence.

Premier Mark McGowan announced on Friday 2 July, that Perth and Peel would slowly emerge from lockdown in a phased approach.

As the government has placed a restriction of 20 attendees at recreation centres to begin with, Cockburn ARC will remain closed in this initial phase.

We will partially reopen at 5.30am on Tuesday 6 July, when Perth moves into the next phase and our capacity is increased to 150 attendees. At this point, we will be able to reopen our gym and 25m,50m and warm pools for exercise for members only, although no children's programs, swim school, sports or group fitness will operate. The stadium, sauna, spa and steam room, learn to swim pool and waterplay area will remain closed.

We will continue to suspend all our memberships, (including Swim ARCademy and PlayActive) and sports team fees during this time.

Full service is scheduled to recommence on Monday 12 July, for all programs and services, and membership fees will recommence on this day. Casual entry will also be reinstated.

Swim ARCademy will use the week of Saturday 3 July to Sunday 11 July as our annual Winter shutdown period and all classes will recommence on Monday 12 July.
