Lockdown transition - reopening

Cockburn ARC will reopen from Saturday 6 February, with a pay as you go model for members and the community.

Re-opening with a difference...

Under the direction of the WA Government, Cockburn ARC will move into the transition from lockdown and we will open our doors from 7am Saturday 6 February.
We are very excited to welcome the community back to the centre, however it will be a different experience than normal for everyone during this transition time.

Membership suspension remains
All memberships will remain on suspension which means that there will be no cost to you if you decide not to attend during this transition phase.
Training sessions must be booked in

In order to meet the restrictions in place, we have had to greatly reduce our service offering. Inside the centre, we will be offering a lap lane/warm water swimming session or a gym session. Both of these sessions will be offered as a pay-as-you-go model which will cost $5.20 per session.
Sessions need to be booked and paid online prior to entry through our website or member app and will have limited places.

Members will be able to book 12 hours in advance and casual users 3 hours in advance.
Swim Training Sessions (50 minutes)
  • 25m, 50m lap lane and warm water pool only
  • Masks must be worn when not in the pool
  • No change room facilities will be available
  • No spa, sauna or steam room will be available
  • No recreational swimming

Gym Sessions (50 minutes)
  • Masks must be worn at all times
  • No change room facilities will be available - lockers and toilets only.
  • All equipment must be wiped down
  • You must have a towel

Entry to the centre will be strictly on the condition that you wear a mask.
There will be no access inside the centre unless you have booked into a session.

Plus free outdoor ARCfit HIIT and Yoga sessions!
While we will be unable to offer our usual group fitness program, we are pleased to be able to invite all members to join our free outdoor fitness sessions. This is offered as a complimentary service for our members to keep active during this time.

Please book online into these classes and meet your instructor at Legacy Oval, across from the centre’s entry. Masks will be required.
