Changes to the group fitness timetable

25Oct2024

Short-term changes are coming to the group fitness timetable starting Monday 28 October.

With the hoarding up and works well and truly underway upstairs, we’d like to tell you about some more short-term changes to group fitness.

To enable us to continue to offer you a packed timetable, we have added a few different options and locations, such as smaller cycle classes and use of the crÚche as a studio space.

Please bear with us, as we work towards the end game of a fabulous new health club!

Starting Monday 28 October, the following changes will apply:

Cycle studio

We’ve reduced the number of bikes per class to 16, so we will now offer two 30-minute cycle sessions to fit everyone in. If 30 minutes isn’t quite enough for your workout, feel free to join a second class in a different style, such as a 30-minute Body Combat followed by a 30-minute Spin class.

Mind + body classes

Evening mind and body classes will run in the Carnaby’s Club Crùche located at the entrance of the centre. The exceptions are the 6pm Yoga class on Fridays and the Yoga and Meditation classes on Wednesday evenings which will be held in the mind and body studio.

Other classes

  • Zumba classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings will be held in the crĂšche
  • The existing mind and body studio will be used, as well as the Fremantle Football Club at times.

Saturday morning classes

  • The 7:30am Yoga class will run earlier at 7:05am in the crĂšche
  • Body Combat will start later at 9:15am on Court 6 in the stadium
  • The 10:30am Zumba class has been moved to Court 6 in the stadium

💡 Quick tip: Always check the time and location of your class on the website, your ticket or email confirmation. That is the up-to-date source of info.

If you can’t make it to a class, please remember to cancel in advance so that others have the opportunity to join. If your preferred class is full, feel free to check out the gym—our friendly Fitness Coaches will show you the ropes!

There is no impact to the aqua classes.

As the works continue, we will update you with further changes. Thank you all for being on board and understanding.
