Five activities to do these school holidays

If you’re struggling to find ways to keep the littlies entertained without resorting to turning on a screen, give these activities a go!

With the school holidays now in full swing, you might be all too familiar with the phrase “I’m bored, what can I do?” from your children.

If you’re struggling to find ways to keep the littlies entertained without resorting to turning on a screen, have a crack at these activities…

Bibra Lake Regional Playground
The Bibra Lake Regional Playground offers a unique opportunity for children to learn about the natural environment through play. From double flying foxes to giant talking rocks sharing local Nyungar stories, there’s plenty to keep the kids occupied.

Shoot some hoops
Another fun activity to kill time is shooting some hoops. Whether you buy a basketball set from Kmart or take the kids to the ARC for some casual shooting, your kids are guaranteed to have a blast!

Get crafty!
Sometimes it’s easier to stay at home with the kids, especially if you’ve got a few things to catch up on around the house. Paper Plate Rainbow Fish, Paper Roll Dragon Craft, BFG Paper Plate Dream Catchers and Jellyfish Salt Painting Activity are just a few ways to make a day at home fun for the little ones.

Bandicoots Indoor Play
Join us for PlayTime in our Bandicoots Play Centre. Your child can slide, clamber, tumble, roll, jump, laugh and play on our magnificent Play Structure.

Summer of Fun
Pack your bathers and take part in our Summer of Fun activities, which run throughout January. Face painting, Monster Bubbles, outdoor inflatables and waterslides are just some of the many things you can expect to see each day.

However you choose to spend your holidays, we hope you and loved ones have a nice break! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date with our new activities and programs.
