No masks will be required at the ARC from Saturday.
As announced by the Premier on Thursday 6 May, all recreation centres and gyms can resume operations without the requirement for attendees to wear a mask. This comes into effect from Saturday 8 at 12.01am, so ready for our Saturday visitors.
Services that have recommenced:
- Swim school
- All pools
- 24/7 (from 7am)
- Group fitness
- Junior social sports (primary school only)
- Sports coaching and Kids Zumba
- PlayActive and birthday parties
- Cafe (reduced service and hours)
The sauna and steam room will remain closed until Saturday, but will reopen on Saturday. Senior social sports and junior sports (high school level) will resume in the week beginning Monday 10 May.
Mask Requirements till Saturday
Until 12.01am Saturday 8 May masks must be worn by all attendees
unless you are 12 or under when inside the building. The only time when a mask is not required is while exercising in the pools or participating in a class in the pools. Please note: casual shooters, casual hirers, gym users, group fitness attendees and spectators must wear a mask.

If you have a medical exemption to not wear a mask, please bring a letter from your medical professional the first time you visit us and we will make a note on your account.
Membership + Suspension
All memberships will be reactivated and fees will apply from Saturday 1 May. We understand however that while some restrictions are in place you may wish to suspend your membership until all restrictions are lifted, using some of the 84 days that you have each year to suspend. You can do this in the member portal by visiting Contract Details > Select your membership > Suspend membership.
