Cockburn ARC closure

Cockburn ARC will be closed from 5:30pm Sunday 31 January under the direction of the WA State Government.

Current Update - Monday 1 February

Information for members, Swim ARCademy and sports teams

Following on from our communication to you yesterday, that Cockburn ARC will be closed for the 5 days of the COVID lock down, we would like to provide you with some specific information regarding membership, Swim ARCademy and sports.

Members accounts to be  suspended

We are pleased to let you know that all members will have their membership suspended from Monday 1 February to Friday 5 February inclusive. This means that you will not be charged for those dates, and this will be adjusted accordingly for your individual membership rate.

For those members already on suspension, these 5 days will not be deducted from the 84 days that you are able to suspend your membership each year.

Swim ARCademy classes

Classes between Monday 1 and Friday 5 February

With the centre being closed during this time, no classes will be held. So you will not be charged for your Swim ARCademy membership for this week if your class time falls between Monday and Friday.

Classes on Saturday 6 February and beyond

At this stage, we will be reopening for business as usual on Saturday 6 February. If your class time falls on a Saturday or Sunday, then we look forward to seeing you in class, and you will be charged for your class as per normal.

Sports Comps cancelled

All of our junior and senior sports competitions for this week will not go ahead. As such, no fees will be charged for this week for teams. For teams that were debited over the weekend, a credit will be placed on your account to cover your next game fee. We hope to see games resume on Monday 8 February.

As you know, the situation could change in the coming days. If it does, we will let you know any updates about impacts on your membership, swimming lessons and sports competitions as soon as we are able.

If you have any questions, please email us on info@cockburnarc.com.au opens in a new window

Sunday 31 January, 5.30pm

Following instructions from the State Government at lunchtime on Sunday 31 January, there will be a five (5) day lockdown in Perth, Peel and the Southwest commencing at 6pm tonight.

As a result, Cockburn ARC will be closed from 5:30pm on Sunday 31 January and at this stage, we will reopen at 7am on Saturday 6 February 2021 unless otherwise directed by the WA State Government.

This means that there will be no access to the centre and that all our services will be cancelled for this time.

Our top priority is the safety and well-being of members of public and employees. For updates, our website will be the key communication channel, and we encourage you to review this page regularly.

Given these exceptional circumstances, we thank our valued members and customers for your understanding and wish our ARC community and families the best during this difficult time. For more information regarding the lockdown please visit  (https://www.wa.gov.au/government/covid-19-coronavirus)
