Aqua Skills for Seniors


Learn water safey skills, meet new people and stay active!

Aqua Skills 55+ is a water safety and lifesaving skills initiative for people aged over 55 years. This FREE course is structured as four-week refresher suitable for people of all skill levels, so whether you're an everyday swimmer or only dip your toe in occasionally - this is for you!

This practical program will provide you with the skills to deal with emergency situations, personal survival techniques and a thorough understanding of water safety knowledge to reduce the likelihood of drowning. It's a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and have fun!

Wednesday 30 June, 11:30am to 1:30pm (dry session and resuscitation training)

Wednesday 7 July, 11:30am to 1pm (wet session)

Wednesday 14 July, 11:30am to 1pm (wet session)

Wednesday 21 July, 11:30am to 1pm (wet session)

The sessions are free but you must register your details to join in.
