Keep your squats low and your standards high

Have you met Kat?

She’s our pint-sized powerhouse that lifts like Arnie himself! 🏋️‍♀️

Kat’s background is originally in primary education with a double degree in her pocket. But after a day of shaping young minds, she found solace in the iron paradise, where her passion for powerlifting took off.

Fast forward seven years, and Kat isn't just flexing her muscles—she's breaking records! With an impressive 10 x Australian records under her lifting belt and a #1 ranking in powerlifting, she decided to turn her happy place into her full-time career.

Leaving the classroom behind, Kat dove headfirst into the world of fitness. Now, she's our newest Fitness Coach here at the ARC, blending her love for teaching with her passion for lifting heavy things.

For Kat, training goes beyond physical gains; it's also about nurturing a clear mindset. She takes joy in guiding our members to grow stronger, both physically and mentally. Weightlifting, to her, is a grounding practice, and she encourages everyone to give it a try.

When she's not busy helping our members push and pull to their limits, you'll find Kat in a world of pixels playing Mario Brothers or learning to stand-up paddle board!

Ask her if she enjoys pineapple on pizza – await the controversial answer.🍍 ✅
