South Lake Dolphins
Formed in 1992, Southlake Dolphins is a year-round swimming club located in the Cockburn Aquatic and Recreation Centre (ARC). Our coaches and volunteers have a proven track record and are committed to helping all of our athletes accomplish the goals they set for themselves.
Our swimmers compete in local events appropriate for their age and ability level, as well as regional and national championship events.

Cockburn Masters Swimming Club
We are based at the Cockburn ARC and Coogee Beach (we swim there Saturday mornings at 7:00am) .
Don’t be put off by the title, we are not “masters” and/or elite swimmers, we are affiliated to Masters Swimming Australia and it simply means that we cater for swimmers 18 years and over.
We have a wide range of swimming abilities within our club from people just wanting to swim laps, get fit and have some fun, people training for triathlons and swim events, right through to people training for Rottnest crossings. We utilise several lanes in the ARC pools and cater for all levels of ability and speed.
“Fun, Fitness and Friendship through swimming” is our mantra.
We swim Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm through to 8:00pm and Thursday mornings from 6:00am through to 7:00am, these sessions work on building swim endurance as well as tweaking swim technique.
New members are most welcome and we offer you three free swims with the club for you to try us out and see if it suits.

Leeming Masters Swimming Club is affiliated with Masters Swimming, an Australia-wide association of adult swimming clubs whose members, aged 18 years and over, swim regularly to keep fit, make friends and have fun. Based at Cockburn ARC, we have organised training every Wednesday night from 7pm in hired lanes under the supervision of a qualified coach. Some members meet at other times for a swim (then coffee) and in summer we meet at Coogee Beach of a Sunday morning for open water training in preparation for such events as the Busselton Jetty Swim and Coogee Jetty to Jetty event. We welcome new members and cater for all levels of swimming ability.

Cockburn Water Polo Club
Our club is a brand new club. We incorporate swimming, leg and ball work, and shooting skills at every training plus a fun game. Our training suits both kids and adults that are both confident with their fitness and technique to swim unassisted over 25mtrs ( usually 10 years+). Our game consists of not only swimming but treading water in egg beater style as the game is played in deep water.
Our CWP committee is made up of 6 members of which 5 have played, coached and referee’d internationally, nationally, and state level water polo. Whilst most of the committee currently are heavily involved in the sport most of our children are playing competitive water polo.
The water polo competition season runs from October to March. The club trains over Winter for $5 per session (plus pool entry) on Sunday mornings.
CWP not only offers experienced coaching for all levels but a fun, healthy, and safe environment for an energetic work out in the water. CWP offers x 2 free come and try sessions.
