Let’s get your 24/7 access underway.

In order to access Cockburn ARC’s gym outside of staffed hours, you first need to go through a straight forward induction process.
The induction will provide you with  a clear understanding of all the processes and features available to you when there are no staff members here. Your safety is our priority and we want to make sure your time in our centre meets all your expectations.

Three step process:

  1. Please watch the video below or read the transcript.
  2. Then,  read and agree to our terms and conditions, and complete your details in our online form.
  3. Your 24 / 7 access will then be activated within 3 business days. You will receive a text when your access is ready and you'll be good to go.

Let’s do this…

1. Introduction

Welcome to Cockburn ARC Health Club 24/7. We’re pleased to welcome you to this exciting addition to your ARC membership, where you get the flexibility to train when it suits you.

But first, it’s important that you take the time to understand the terms and conditions of becoming a 24/7 member, here at the ARC. Your safety and well being is of utmost importance to us, so we want you to be fully informed of all the specifics of how a 24/7 membership will operate.

Being a unique facility, there will be differences to other 24/7 clubs you may have attended in the past.

So, let’s get underway.

2. How to access

Outside staffed hours you will need to access via the front entrance to the building.  Look for the access point with the 24/7 icon and access with your member band.

Please make sure that no one else accesses through the access point with you on your band scan. This is a breach of your membership, which management will follow up on and may result in a fine or loss of membership.

Once you’re in, make your way directly to the gym. The only areas you can access outside standard business hours are the internal street walk way, the gym and upstairs bathrooms. While the facility looks quite open, once our out of hours kicks in, an alarmed electronic barrier will limit access to all other areas of the facility.

The whole centre is also fully monitored by CCTV for your safety and those of other members.

Please leave by front exit only, as other exits are alarmed.

3. Your Health and Safety

Your health and safety is paramount to us, and we have put a high level of service around ensuring your experience here is of a premium level. Here are a few key items for you to familiarise yourself with.

Get to know the safety board.
Outside the bathrooms there is an orange board with all the information you need to know for your safety and in times of emergency. It is here that are encouraged to pick up a lanyard with a personal duress alarms to wear while training.

Unlike many other 24/7 gyms, the ARC has a security staff member on site at all times after standard business hours.  They can be contacted through the number displayed on the safety board which is just outside the toilets and on digital signage in the gym.

Our security officer will also be actively monitoring the gym as well as the rest of the centre outside standard hours. They will report to centre management any observations for our management team to investigate further.

So what should you contact security for?
If you feel unsafe, have a medical issue arise, or if you have an issue with another member which needs assistance.
If you can see that another member is having a medical incident, or safety issue, please contact security on their behalf.

Plus, to fully ensure your safety, you are able to use the intercom at the centre entrance to contact them and they’ll be happy to meet you and escort you to your car.

3. Equipment use

Another key aspect of your safety is how you use the equipment when there are no Gym Instructors on hand to offer assistance. As a guiding principle, this is not the time to try something new, keep to what you are comfortable with.

4. Gym etiquette

Let’s make sure we all use this shared space together so that everyone has the best possible experience.  Everyone coming into the gym, no matter what time should find the equipment and the space in great condition and ready for training.

As we’ve mentioned, the whole of the ARC is extensively monitored by CCTV cameras, and if you ever have any concerns about the state of the gym please let us know.

5. In the case of an emergency

In the unlikely event that an emergency occurs, please make your way safely to the entrance of the building.

6. Feedback

Please get in touch if you have any feedback or questions about your 24/7 membership. Either follow up with us during standard business hours at reception or on 9411 3344 , or email us on info@cockburnarc.com.au at any time and we’ll get back to you during the next business day.

We hope that you enjoy your 24/7 membership at the ARC!
